The Central government is responsible for national environmental policy directed to contribute to the sustainable economic development and to the health and safety of people by maintaining and improving the quality of the environment. Within the central government, there is a department of health. The department of health is responsible for public health and regulating the NHS. The NHS has “A legal duty to involve and consult the public about the running of local health services. Patients should be listened to and actions are taken to meet their concerns” (Accessed 14/01/18) There are responsible for purchasing primary care services and these are the following: GPs, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists and specialized services. Children and young people have the right to a good and meaningful everyday life. This means being part of a well-supported loving family, having friends, trying new things and having fun. Children and young people tell us they want to go to their local school and get a paid job when they become adults. Families should expect coordinated support and the services they need to make that a reality. Ensuring access to meaningful activities and robust person-cent red support is essential in preventing behavior that challenges. The NHS help children and young people because there make sure the needs are meet at home. Therefore, this will benefit children who have been impacted with disabilities massively because there will ensure that the child has opportunities to attend schools with the support that is required. The nurses within the hospital are required to ensure staff in schools and colleges have a good level of support and training to work with children and young people with a learning disability. Children and young people should receive the correct support in terms of developing and maintaining positive relationships to reduce the risk of social isolation. Therefore, with the help of this support children will feel less vulnerable as there will be able to reduce the chances of feeling vulnerable. It is vital that that the staff in the NHS provide these factors as this is essential in terms of the child’s needs. The nurses should be able to make reasonable adjustments as this will allow children to access a range of universal services. These universal services may include the following: Childcare, Playgroups, Playgrounds, Youth clubs, Sports and Leisure. The TCPs should ensure high aspirations for children and young people with a learning disability, autism or both by commissioning a full range of training grounded in equality and inclusion for staff working in a wide range of universal and specialist settings; including training on the social model of disability, learning disabilities and autism, supporting children who display behavior that challenges, and why supporting parents and carers is important. The NHS are required to have a duty of care. There should provide resources for children and these disability Matters materials which have been co-produced with parents and carers and young people including those with these this range of needs. Families and individuals with direct experience of learning disabilities, autism and challenging behavior should be involved in the delivery of the training wherever possible. Ofsted is the “Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills” (Accessed 14/01/18) There are responsible for inspecting and regulating services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. There will help children massively as there will ensure that children are receiving the correct support in terms of their education. There are responsible for inspecting many things and these are the following: Childcare, adoption, fostering agencies and also initial teacher training. This will benefit children as there will be making sure that teachers are doing the job correctly and making the child the priority. Within the process of going to the school, Ofsted will also publish as this will give them a better indication as to what the schools need to do, to improve the quality of the child’s education. There will also regulate a range of early years and children’s social care services, making sure they’re suitable for children and potentially vulnerable young people. The central government also provide social services and there are responsible for assessing the needs of services. Social services have the responsibility of making sure that all children and safe, there also have the responsibility to encourage the welfare of vulnerable children and adults. This will benefit families massively as social services will be able to provide a wide rang of services for children and their parents. However, families may feel anxious as in terms of social services getting involved as there may feel as if there will be removed from their home.
