One of the most stunning, and breathtaking parts of a Central Florida vacation are the nighttime spectaculars and stage shows put on by the parks. During the holidays there are unique versions of many of these Orlando Nighttime Spectaculars waiting for you to view!
Magic Kingdom: Holiday Wishes
Holliday Wishes is the traditional holiday fireworks show for the Magic Kingdom, however, it is now only viewable during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (to read more about the party ready here). During non-party days the nighttime shows include ‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Happily Ever After’. And from December 23rd to the 30th the Magic Kingdom also puts on Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. It’s a stage show featuring Mickey and the rest of the gang as they sing Christmas songs and more. It isn’t a holiday specific firework show, but its still a holiday event!
Epcot: Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is the nighttime spectacular that makes its home in Epcot. The show runs all year long, but during certain times of the year, the show gets an additional conclusion. During the Fourth of July season, there are an extra 10 minutes of patriotic music and pyrotechnics. During New Years there’s an extra special countdown of countries. During the holidays the extra conclusion included holiday wishes from each nation in the World Showcase as well as the song ‘Let there be peace on earth’. Another holiday show is the Candlelight Processional that takes place every holiday season at Epcot. Read more about it in our blog post.
Hollywood Studios: Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam
Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam is the newest nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show is a projection mapping and firework display that takes place every night during the holiday season. The show comes with an exclusive dining party reservation that gives you exclusive seating to both Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam and the regular nighttime show that runs every night as well.
Universal Orlando: Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is home to the newest Universal nighttime spectacular. The new show is called the ‘Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts’. It includes snow, creatures, and characters from the book series and more all projected onto Hogwarts castle. You can viewe the show from the main section of the Islands of Adventure theme park area.
SeaWorld Orlando Winter Wonderland
SeaWorld has quite a few holiday specific shows for you to enjoy. But the one we want to focus on tonight is the final showing of Winter Wonderland on Ice. Winter Wonderland on Ice is a holiday-themed ice skating extravaganza that runs a few times each evening. However the final show of the evening comes with an additional firework show out over the lake! Read more about everything SeaWorld Orlando has to offer during the holidays here.
