Before going to discuss about the Information systems Infrastructure I can give you little idea about the information and the information systems. What is information? Information is the collection of different type of data which are logically related to the each other, that can give us some knowledge that is known as Information. Now coming to Information systems (Also known as IS) is collection of information that setup in Organized. Which organized data for an Organizations to store and communication of Information. Clearly, it is the study of complementary structure that people and institutions or Organizations use to gather, build, process and distribute information or data. Information system is owned by many organizations based on their requirements and to increase their productivity.Information System Infrastructure:            Framework that supports the organization or system that origin is comes from the Infrastructure. In information technology infrastructure is possessed from both virtual and physical resources that can provides data analysis, processing and storage from the flow of information.Evaluation of the Information Technology Infrastructure:Currently in organizations the outgrowth is over 5 decades evaluation in computing platforms. They have major stages that are1.     General purpose mainframe and minicomputer computing2.     PCs3.     Clint/server networks4.     Enterprise computing5.     Mobile and cloud computing.Paul M.Veillard who is Technical analyst at IBM he clearly explain about the evaluation of Information Technology Infrastructure clearly infrastructure ears has be evolved that in 1959  General-Purpose Mainframe and Minicomputer Era from IBM introduced 1401 and 7090 transistorized mechanics. In 1965, the main-frame computers own with the introduction of the IBM 360 series. Personal Computer Era from 1981 to present that PCs and early 1990 launched a spate of personal desktop. Clint/server Era has started from 1983, for the networking client/server computers that provide with variety of service and effectiveness. The term server refers to both the software application and the physical computer on which the networks software runs. The clint is the user point of entry it typically processes and store shared data. In 1992 the Enterprise Computing Era has begun and turned to networking standards and software tools that could integrate disparate networks and applications throughout the firm into an enterprise wide infrastructure. And current era that stared 2000s cloud and mobile computing the Growing bandwidth power of the Internet has pushed the client/server model one step. Cloud computing refers to a model of computing that provides access to a shared pool of computing resources.   Later on moved to ERP (enterprise resource planning) it organized -specific form of a strategic information system that incorporates all components of an organization including manufacturing, sales, resource management, human resource planning and marketing.Trends of the Information Technology infrastructure:Technology is vastly growing and adapting innovative trends. Here I’m going to discuss few of the latest trends that areVirtual reality: It is the experiencing things through our computers or smartphones that don’t really exists. The 3-dimensional computer-created world that you can explore so you feel you really are there both physically and mentally. Which is believable, interactive, computer generated, Explorable and immersive. Now coming to Artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced machine Learning is neural network and natural Language processing. Intelligence Apps that organizations are applying AIand machine- learning techniques to create new apps. And we have many more trends like Mesh apps and service architecture, Conversational systems and so on.Conclusion:Over the last decades, governments all over the world have tried to take advantage of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve government operations and communication with citizens. Adoption of e-government has increased in most countries, but at the same time, the rate of successful adoption and operation varies from country to country. It presents general trends by examining interactions and mutual shaping processes between ICT evolution and several inter-related institutional changes including government operations, public services delivery, citizen participation, policy and decision making, and governance reform.
