After dissecting the statistics,
it was evident that 95,000 fans lived in Europe, the average age of a fan fell
below 36 years old, 26% of participants were under the age of 25, and in 2017
there was a 10% increase in female participation (over 14,000 female fans) the
largest number ever. (Motorsport Stats, 2017) It is apparent that most of the
Formula 1 fans are within the target market age group they are trying pursue.
