Greet guests and seat by ushering them to their
table or communicating a delay in seating and offer them a seat in the bar area
while they wait. Accept and organize reservations in person, and over the phone
processing them into the Open Table system. Schedule private parties and large
reservations planned in advance. Prepare seating assignments prior to service
and check the waiter schedule to make sure that all tables were covered by
staff. Addressed guest requests or complaints, and escalated major complaints
to the manager.
